Location: Santiago do Cacém, Portugal
This project was kicked-off with the client’s need to convert a commercial space at downtown Santiago do Cacém, with a peculiar plan shape into an articulated space whose main function would be Alternative Medicines clinic.
Dealing with a street-facing store, it was decided to adopt an inner skin with a scenic mood that could make the transposition between the commercial exterior environment and the clinical interior mood. Defined between the skin and facade, the waiting area is room for meetings, opening-way to the corridor, with distributive function in the clinical layout.
