Project under council Submission – Regarding a conversion of a building located in Rua de Santa Maria, abutting the Santa Maria Yard in Setúbal. Building Rehab focused in keeping the max possible of the existing building , converting to total Housing use. During Pre-design stage was proposed to Setubal’s council the urban rehab of the Santa Maria Yard in front of, targeting the area contemplation – on walk!
Were designed 11 Apartments, being studios to 2 Beds, abutting the yard, over-viewing the city and Sao Phillip fortress (in the hills). The rehab was designed for the users to enjoy the backyard, through a system of balconies and open spaces in the rear. All apartments were designed for disables users inclusion.
