Queen Ginga Garden, is one of JS-Architecture’s landscape international project. We were asked to carry out the exterior and landscaping design of a small public space integrated in the intervention area of our client company – the Queen Ginga Street/Rua in Luanda. In this urban acupuncture incursion, it was a Design intention to preserve the existent trees and add new ones that will make the metric spatial punctuation, visible from the alley to the garden and plafond the garden to outside. Associated with this strategy was the design of the Pergola, privilege shading structure, so necessary in these latitudes, which in our view will allow the correct appropriation of the Garden in long term, without the need for maintenance work.
