Identifying Health facilities development stakeholders types and groups
Beyond the classic Stakeholders groups, these being internal and external, we consider the concept of Interface stakeholders to the health facility development level.
Being internal stakeholders those who operate entirely within the bounds of the developer organization, while interface function both internally and externally, “in the interface between the organization and its environment”, interpreted as a sub-group of internal stakeholders. This type includes the medical staff, hospital board of trustees, the corporate office of the parent company, and other stockholders. The interface group tends to have a multi-level insight to other facilities and health services, their contributions are keen to identify threats and opportunities to the development process.
