This project was commissioned in February and the design process started in April. In the circumstance of a new Real estate agency, the brand Remax Investement, it was urgent to finalize the process of design and start the process of Construction support documentation, for construction bids be placed within the less time possible.
It was an intense process and it was requested for this agency a referral (project) to two commercial agencies of the same brand in China, in Beijing and Shanghai. This was interpreted with the project ambition to anchor some Image aspects to the twin sister agencies in the other continent, that customers can read as a multi spatial identification.
Therefore elements of Chinese architectural language were adopted in Prior Velho Agency, from Shanghai came the reference of the polished marble filament used in both counters, in Lisbon and in Shanghai. Between Prior Velho and Beijing was established a design agreement by the architects, as the bright-space transition between the reception and meeting rooms, materialized in the vertical slatted – symbolism of the two spaces.
Talking of a satellite office in Portugal, entrance door for investors coming from far, It was adopted a hosting language in transition between commercial and domestic imagery. The image conveyed – symbolism of the great real estate investment and the construction works, using for effort lacquered coating and the micro cement; the environment was refined with a welcome soft tone of oak leaf, honey tone.
The reception was design in circular shaped plan, symbol of perfection in the approach, interaction, meeting and agreement in trade negotiations between peoples and different societies.
On the approach to the city of Lisbon, for those who have just landed in the airport of Portela, the curtain is lifted in two images disposed in the meeting rooms, to convey all the charismatic atmosphere of our city.
